Stylar's online payment system is used exclusively for securely collecting deposits when clients book your services. You then collect the remaining balance directly from your clients using your preferred payment methods—completely fee-free from us. This gives you flexibility while ensuring your bookings are secured.
Deposits collected online from your clients via Stylar are processed securely by Stripe. These funds (minus our 3.25% service fee and any standard Stripe processing fees) are then paid out directly to your linked bank account daily from Stripe.

Stylar helps you manage client cancellations clearly. Our platform supports a policy where:
• If a client cancels within 3 days of their scheduled appointment, you are generally entitled to keep the deposit paid at booking.
• If a client cancels more than 3 days before their appointment, they typically have the option to reschedule their service.
This policy is designed to be fair to both you and your clients and will be communicated during the booking process. For any unique circumstances or if you need assistance with a specific cancellation scenario, our customer support team is available to help you on a case-by-case basis.
Stylar's automated reminder system helps keep your clients informed and minimizes no-shows by sending timely notifications. Here's how our SMS and email reminders work automatically:
• Booking Confirmation: As soon as a booking is made, your client will receive an initial confirmation via both SMS and email.
• Consultation Form (if applicable): If your service requires a consultation form to be completed, an SMS and email reminder will be sent to the client prompting them to fill it out.
• 48-Hour Reminder: Clients will receive a final SMS and email reminder 48 hours prior to their scheduled appointment.
